Career

Tamanna began acting in films at the age of 13, but her first films, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (2005) in Hindi, Sri (2005) in Telugu and Kedi (2006) in Tamil failed. The subsequent Tamil picture of Viyabari (2007) received negative reviews, but Tamannaah's game was called the best part of the film. Success came a little later with the film of Shekhar Kammula's "Happy Days". Critics emphasized her facial expressions. Released at the end of the year, Tamil film Kalloori also performed well, and Tamannaah's role was rated positively. After this, the actress signed three projects at once with the participation of such popular actors as Siddhart, Allu Arjun and Surya.

Released in 2008, Telugu Kalidasu was a success at the box office, and Tamannaah earned the praise of critics. In June of the same year, she left the team of the film "Arya 2", being replaced by Kadzhal. And in two Telugu films, "Ready" and "Ninna Nedu Repu", which came out after that, she appeared as a cameo.

Released during the festival time Pongal 2009 Tamil film Padikkadavan made a good box office and received positive reviews, but it was noted that Tamannaah was not possible to show their skills. A month later came "Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam", also well received by critics who found Siddhart and Tamannaah to be a great on-screen pair. Then followed the "Ayan" K.V. Ananda with Surya, who became the only Tamil blockbuster of 2009.

Her next project, Siruthai, where Tamannaah reappeared with Carty, became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of the year, although critics disagreed about the film, and Tamannaah's game received a mostly negative rating. Then, along with other Tamil stars, the actress appeared in the musical number "Aga Naga" in the film "Ko".
