Sukhwinder Singh
Sukhwinder Singh (born July 18, 1971) is a playback singer who is primarily known for his playback in Bollywood. He got fame from the song "Chaiyya Chaiyya", for which he won the Filmfare Award for the Best Male Playback Singer in 1999. Sukhwinder Singh is a dedicated devotee of Lord Shiva. Singh performed for the first time on stage at age of 8 years.
Sukhwinder Singh has sung songs for many notable Bollywood heroes including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Tushar Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Dutt, Bobby Deol and Ranbir. Singh got international fame by singing "Jai Ho" from the film Slumdog Millionaire, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Best Song.
