Brain Age: Concentration Training - Brain Fitness Video Game

Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused?, known in North America as the Brain Age: Concentration Training, is a puzzle game developed and released by Nintendo for Nintendo 3DS. It was released in Japan on July 28, 2012 and February the following year in North America. The game had scheduled release in Europe in March 2013, then April 12, 2013, before it was postponed indefinitely. Finally, the game was released in Europe on July 28, 2017, just five years after the original launch date in Japan.

Devilish Brain Training has exercises that emphasize concentration and focus on practicing the player's working memory. The concentration exercises, called "Devilish Training", have a dynamic difficulty that adapts to the player's skills. In addition to new activities, the game also includes exercises from the previous games in the Brain Training series, Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? and More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? The Japanese professor Ryuta Kawashima acts as host and motivator in the game and manifests itself as a floating head. When the player selects "Devilish Training" mode, he changes appearance to resemble oneoni, which are demons from Japanese mythology with horns and red skin. In the West, the term oni was localized as "devil", thus the name Devilish Training.
