HostGator is an American hosting and Internet Company founded in 2002 and based in Houston, Texas. HostGator is a subsidiary of Endurance International Group, which owns Bluehost, iPage, Host Monster, and other hosting companies.

HostGator also started operations in India in 2011. Hostgator's headquarters in India are located in Nashik, Maharashtra.

HostGator offers a wide range of services, but it is undoubtedly the best known for its shared hosting plans at a good price. They offer four shared hosting services that are Starter, Hatchling, Baby and Business and each with elements such as the provision of services and support options. You can cancel your shared, reseller or VPS hosting plans within 45 days and receive a full refund. Dedicated servers are not eligible. Costs incurred, such as administration and installation fees or purchases of domain names, are not refundable.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through a special online form. The account will be canceled within 48 hours. If you wish to request a refund, you will have to respond to the cancellation email and request it - it is not automatic. Refunds are sent via credit card or PayPal.
