Hindi - हिन्दी Language
Hindi is spoken in various states of India. In India and other countries, people speak, read and write Hindi. The people of Fiji, Mauritius, Guyana, Suriname and Nepal also speak Hindi. In the Indian census of 2001, 422 million people in India described Hindi as their native language. Outside India, the number of Hindi speakers is as follows (2018) - 648,983 in USA, 6,85,170 in Mauritius, 8,90,292 in South Africa, 2,32,760 in Yemen, 1,47,000 in Uganda, 5,000 in Singapore, 8 lakh in Nepal and 30,000 in Germany. Hindi is the fourth most spoken language in New Zealand.
Apart from this, Urdu, spoken by 141 million people in India, Pakistan and other countries is verbally similar to Hindi. A vast majority of people understand both Hindi and Urdu. The prediction of scientists associated with the language development sector is very satisfying for the Hindi lovers that Hindi will also be the main language which will be the language of international importance at the time of the global level.
