Aditya Prateik Singh Sisodia, popularly known as Badshah, is a famous singer and rapper. Badshah was born in Karnal. Badshah's father is Harayanvi and mother is Punjabi. He did his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School, Delhi. Badshah started his career in 2006 as a member of Yo Yo Honey Singh's band. In 2012, he split from Honey Singh and introduced his rap "Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chull" which became a big hit. His rap "DJ Wale Babu", released in 2015, set new records of success.

He did his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School Delhi. He graduated from Civil Engineering from University of Technology Chandigarh. He never aspired to become a Punjabi Reaper, he had to go to the civil service.

Badshah started his career from the year 2006. He has juggled many famous singers of Punjabi film industry in his career. He got recognition in Hindi cinema with the song "Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai" and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He has sung many songs with Yo Yo Honey Singh, Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh. His song "DJ Wala Babu" became very popular among the people.

Badshah has sung songs mainly in Hindi, Punjabi and Hariyan languages. His sung songs are also included in many Bollywood films such as the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Khoobsurat.

Rapper Badshah launched his new album O.N.E in association with Sony Music. At the launch of this album, Badshah said that this 17-song album is showing his expression and vision towards music.

The real name of rapper Badshah is Aditya Prateik Singh Sisodia. He wanted to pursue a career in music since childhood, but due to not getting the right directions, he faced many challenges. Badshah tells that his father wanted him to complete his studies and prepare for civil service, but his mind seemed to be in rap. He had some difficulties early in his career, but he moved his career forward in this direction.

In 2006, Badshah started his career by singing small rap in Punjabi Pop Song. During this time he got the chance to sing with many famous Punjabi singers. But he got special recognition from the songs 'Abhi to Party Shuru Hui Hai' from the Bollywood film Khoobsurat and 'DJ Wale Babu'. After this, he spread the magic of his songs, music and rap in many films including 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.

Badshah says that during the early days of his career, he was looking for a stage name. He often watched Shahrukh Khan's films, meanwhile he saw Shahrukh's film Badshah. He was so impressed with this film that he kept his stage name Badshah. He says that many filmmakers have approached him for acting, but he wants to see them in his style. Badshah wishes that he would be happy to do a cameo even if he does not get the lead role in films.
