Kisan Baburao Hazare
Kisan Baburao Hazare is an Indian social worker. Most people know him as Anna Hazare. He was awarded Padmabhushan by the Government of India in 1992. He was one of those who worked for the right to information. Anna had started the fast unto death from August 16, 2011 to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill.
After facing death in 1965, he purchased a Swami Vivekananda's book 'Call to the Youth for Nation'. By reading this, the desire to dedicate his life to the society has developed in his mind. He also read the books of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave. In the year 1970, he remained unmarried and resolved to devote himself completely to social work.
