K. D. Singh Babu Stadium

Lucknow K.D. Singh Babu Stadium, formerly known as Central Sports Stadium. Named after the Indian hockey player K.D. Singh.

KD Singh Babu Stadium was built in 1957. The ground is situated in the heart of Lucknow city, Hazratganjjak of Wardali. The field's capacity is 25,000 and there is no provision of lighting for day-night matches. This ground is the home ground of Uttar Pradesh cricket team. Local matches are regularly held on the field. Many national and international hockey matches have been played on this ground, the grounds have also been used for local and some international cricket matches. Association football matches are played on this ground.

While playing in the first Test against India on this ground in Women's Cricket, on the first day, England women's cricket opener Carolyn Stakhins and Aaron Brindle made a 150-run partnership against England by dismissing the world record for opening partnerships. Pakistan has scored the maximum of 219/6 in this one-day match at this venue. Most runs are in the name of Pakistani player Imran Khan (84 runs). Pakistan's Wasim Akram, Abdul Qadir and Akram Raza took two wickets each.
