Jaspal Bhatti came with a television serial 'Flop Show' for Doordarshan which became very popular and after that Jaspal Bhatti became known as a comedian rather than a cartoonist.

Jaspal Bhatti's 'Flop Show' is a bridge of sweet memories that still smiles on our faces. The serial, which was a satire on socio-economic problems through various means of acting, was very popular in the 90s. His wife Savita Bhatti was also the producer of this show. This comedy was first shown on Doordarshan in 1991. Although only 10 episodes were made, but it was so much liked that it was repeated several times.

The most important feature of this show was its initial view, in which the person was initially expressed gratitude which was satirical.
